India’s rapid urbanization has resulted in the transformation of rural and semi-urban areas into growing but neglected settlements. However, the infrastructure in these areas often lags behind population growth, leading to inhabitable conditions. One such example can be found in the villages near Kanota Dam, on the outskirts of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
