On site, even a small delay in reinforcement detailing can ripple through the entire day.
We first saw it during a wayside amenities project. An engineer sat among bundles of steel, notebook in hand, patiently working through cutting lengths for the bar bending schedule while the site team waited for the next set of instructions. It was a familiar kind of pause — the sort that does not look dramatic, but quietly consumes time, energy, and money.

We have seen the same pattern in other projects as well: residential works where slab and beam schedules held up execution, commercial projects where coordination between design intent and quantities became repetitive, and institutional buildings where precision had to be maintained across large, complex reinforcement sets. The issue was never a lack of competence. It was the burden of doing the same calculation-heavy task again and again, with little room for delay or error. That is what inspired us to develop an AI-powered bar bending schedule generator.

The tool is still in its testing phase. We have built it, we are refining it, and we are curious to see how the AEC industry/professionals will respond. But the purpose is already clear: to reduce manual effort, shorten turnaround time, and make reinforcement scheduling more efficient and dependable.
